I received my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from South Alabama.  I earned my Masters' Degree in School Counseling from The University of South Alabama.

I worked as a Special Education teacher at Hankins Middle for 7 years.  I taught students who had been diagnosed with learning disabilities and emotional conflicts in both the resource and self-contained classroom in grades 6-8.  I worked as a School Counselor at Griggs Elementary for 3 years.  I am currently the School Counselor at Saraland Elementary.

I feel both honored and privileged to be the School Counselor for Saraland Elementary.  As your school counselor, I want you to know that I will do anything I can to help with your particular need or situation.  I take my responsibility to educate and keep your children safe very seriously.  Please don't hesitate to contact me via phone (679-5739 Ext 63005) or e-mail ( if you ever have any questions or concerns.

I have been happily married to Greg Cozad for 21 years.  My husband also works in the school system at Saraland High School as an AP European Social Studies teacher.  I have three children, Danielle, Colton, and Baylen.  Danielle attends Saraland Middle School.  Colton and Baylen attend Saraland Elementary.

I enjoy going to church, spending time with my family, traveling, playing with my dogs, and going to the beach.
